Weston Hopkins, DC
Weston Hopkins is a licensed chiropractor in the state of Alaska. He began his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas where he completed his bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology and a minor in chemistry. He continued his education at the University of Western States, in Portland Oregon, where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Weston has continued his post graduate studies with extensive training in soft tissue therapy, diagnosis, movement analysis and exercise prescription.
Weston is certified in Active Release Technique (ART), Functional Range Release (FR) and is a Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) Mobility Specialist. He is a member of the International Society of Clinical Rehabilitation Specialists (ISCRS) and is currently working towards his certification in mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT).
In his spare time, Weston loves to spend his time outdoors biking, skiing and hiking with his wife and dog.
Leslie J. Morris, DC
Leslie has been practicing in Anchorage for 11 years. She began her career as co-owner of another practice before opening Interactive Health in 2008. Leslie specializes in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises and believes in spending quality time with her patients to fully understand their needs and goals to best develop individualized treatment plans for their musculoskeletal conditions.
Leslie graduated from Willamette University in 2000 with her BA in Biology. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2003 from University of Western States in Portland OR, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Leslie has been a full body certified Active Release Technique provider since 2002 and maintains her annual certification by attending continuing education in ART. Her additional ART education has included long tract nerve entrapments, masters courses and treating triathletes with ART at the Kona Ironman in 2010.
Leslie has been a certified Lymphedema Therapist from the Dr. Vodder School International since 2005.
She has a passion for educating and treating lymphedema patients and has recently started the Alaska Lymphedema Clinic.
Leslie also became certified in kinesio taping last year.
Leslie was born and raised in Anchorage and she is dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare to her Anchorage community. Her personal interests include tap dancing, traveling, and jigsaw puzzles.
Dannielle Metcalf - L.Ac, CA
Dannielle Metcalf is a licensed and national board certified Acupuncturist. Dannielle received her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington in 2004. She also completed postgraduate training in Medical Qigong from the International Institute of Medical Qigong. She worked for Southcentral Foundation’s Complementary Medicine Clinic in Anchorage for four years until she joined the staff at Interactive Health in 2008.
Dannielle has combined her love of travel with her passion for acupuncture and has volunteered several times for the Pan African Acupuncture Project in Uganda. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Boise State University, and has been pursuing her Master’s in Anthropology from the University of Alaska.

Brian Yelverton - L.Ac
Brian Yelverton is a licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner. He is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCOAM). He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, OH. His studies included an internship in Beijing, China at the Beijing Hospital of Integrated TCM and Western Medicine.
With his gentle and holistic approach, he’s successfully treated a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological and emotional conditions. He’s experienced working with acute and chronic pain (sports injuries, headaches, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc...), anxiety/depression, stress, insomnia, addictions, hormonal imbalances, fertility, men’s health issues, digestive problems, phantom limb pain, neuropathy/limb numbness, post-operative recovery, and more.
Brian loves hiking, biking, travel, and spending time with his family. He's excited to be a part of the personalized and caring style that the Interactive Health team is known and loved for.
Melissa Pavlas Schultze - LMT
Melissa is a nationally certified licensed massage therapist and a Vodder certified lymphedema therapist. She has been practicing in Anchorage since 2007 and has been with Interactive Health since 2008. Melissa specializes in working with musculoskeletal conditions and in the treatment of acute and chronic edema.
Melissa graduated from Career Academy of Anchorage massage therapy school in 2007. She attended the Dr. Vodder School International in 2010 to become a certified lymphedema therapist. She has also received training in advanced myofascial techniques and orthopedic massage techniques. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Melissa has a passion for treating post-cancer patients and helping to improve the quality of life of all her patients.
Melissa was born and raised in Anchorage and enjoys travelling, tap dancing and the Alaskan outdoor lifestyle with her husband and two dogs.
Chris Shelden - Certified Rolfer, LMT
Chris Shelden is a certified Rolfer™ and licensed massage therapist. He started in the field of bodywork in 2016 and has continued to hone his skills through studies at the Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado; Alaska Career College in Anchorage; and other continuing education classes whenever possible. He has worked with a variety of clients and conditions ranging from chronic pain and post trauma recovery, to relief from daily aches and pains and the simple desire to improve athletic performance.
Chris uses a combination of Rolfing and massage techniques along with active movement and awareness exercises to help his clients find a balance, alignment and ease of motion within their bodies.
Chris is fascinated with the ability of the human body to adapt to and compensate for injuries, traumas, and the conditions of modern life. He has a passion for helping people to overcome personal challenges and improve their daily lives through improved performance of their bodies.
Chris has lived in Alaska since 1993. He has lived and worked in the remote bush and in Anchorage. Chris loves to travel and play in the Alaskan outdoors.
